So, I am playing around again with old barns and my "Cosmopolitan Country" line. Yes, I am making pillows. I love the idea of putting a modern twist on the Midwest area that we all live in while keeping it affordable and handmade. So here is just one barn pillow. I kept the stitching crazy for an old tattered look, and mixed some new fabric and some vintage fabric so it could stay country and hip all at the same time. This is just a basic simple design that I put together today.
You are my demographic and would love to know what you think and NOT that you have to buy from me, because that's not what I am asking, but I want your opinions.
Would you (if you were a customer of mine) purchase this? What price would you pay? Can you see this becoming a selling line? I have many many many more ideas for this "Cosmo Country" line that I am itching to get started with. I love Illinois, I love small town Midwest living, I love country & farm life, but I love a funky-hip style country that I just can't find in the stores-maybe I'll be the first, who knows. The flip side of the pillow-
What I would also like to do is photograph or have you send me your own images of your barns, animals, farm equipment, or anything special on people farms or at their homes, transfer the image, put the mix of fabrics together, and then make custom pillows to go in the customers home.
"Cosmo Country" is for the modern country farm chick and the home she lives in!

This particular pillow is only 8x14and is kind of the display for the style and image just so I could see what people think of it. I have idea just overflowing right now!!! This pillow, because it's the display is only 8x14. The standards that I plan to sell are 12x12 and larger depending on what clients need them for. I have so many different areas to play in with this line. I can hardly contain my excitement.

I think its adorable! Now, my Mr works in the Ag industry (& Lord, NO-he is not a farmer-not that that's a bad thing to be, but ME on a farm?? Let's get real!!) Anywhooo-i love the style but would be more prone to one that had a bicycle or PUT A BIRD ON IT!! Ha! You did see that video, right?

Thank you, doll, for saying it's adorable and you'd be surprised at the tricks I have up my magic sleeve. I might, at some point, just happen to pull out a bicycle pillow & the bird pillows have been in the making for quite awhile. I have so so so many different design images that I am playing with. I would sure love to see you on a farm!!!

You know I love it :), you could always make custom orders too. Someone bought me a cushion on Etsy as a gift and people will definately buy something like this from you (as I know you have a small range going on).
Its hard to say a price but on Etsy there is such a huge range of prices... I'd go for $50+

I have been making custom orders all week long-I LOVE it!!! I feel so FREE creating these pillows. I finally feel like my creative slump has taken a vacay. My mind and hands are creating once again and I feel like the old me:)
