What a crazy weekend!
That's all I can possibly say about that, other than the fact, that my family is scrumptious and I love them to the moon and back!
Okay, moving on-
This pic, taken in 2009, has nothing to do with this post, but who doesn't love a funny fresh out of bed morning mom pic taken by surprise-
Doesn't everyone have several pics like this that they would never want to share?
These kind of crazy mom pics always make me laugh.
Enjoy it-if you can.
All these fabulous pics are were taken in 2009 in the 70's pannelled walls rental house, before the big move back home.

It's quite a lovely photo I must say.
I am still laughing!

Okay, so I am always living from one extreme to the other for some reason and "Swamp People" on the History Channel keeps my eyes glues and my toes up from dangling off the edge of my couch. I just panic every single time they are trying to catch and alligator. Also, their Cajun accents intrigue me and make me wish I could become friends with the back country alligator hunters.
On the flip side of that "The Fashion Police" on E with Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne, and the others on the cast crack me up. They critique the stars just like I do and I love them. Joan Rivers has such a potty mouth and calls a spade a spade. I never cared for Joan Rivers until this showed debuted. I love a good honest mouth! Hail to Joan Rivers and her crazy words!
Our water heater went out last Saturday, but we were lucky. We all used the hot shower out in the studio for the last week, because Charlie didn't have time to put the new one in. I carried chilli pots loaded with hot water from the studio into the house every single night, last week to do the dishes that couldn't go in the dishwasher, and am glad that it's over and done with. I would not have made a very good pioneer woman. I would have been a weakling that they left behind to die, because I totally could not hang with those tough chicks! So Charlie and the boys installed the new water heater Sunday morning before I even woke up. That was quite refreshing and I was so glad they did and I showered in my beautiful super hot shower tonight and remembered to be thankful for the little things in life.
I didn't feel like cooking Sunday nightand was on the phone with my Aunt in Florida and I saw Chas and one of our sons take off in the pickup truck and just guess where they went?
Yep, made a trip to Dominoes and picked up two pizza's for twelve dollars.
Gotta love the way they cook.
I sure do.
I sure do.
We ate on paper plates, too, and that made it even more special.
"Junk weekend" arrived in our town, too, over the weekend and Chas and I loaded four truck loads and four trailer loads of junk out of our garage and basement from the previous owner and from things we just did not need since we moved back home. Nothing was removed from the yard or the house, yet, when we pull into our house it just looks cleaner to us even though nothing we removed that was visible to anyone else but us.
It's funny how that happens, but it does.
(Oh, here, we go again-HA!)
(Apparently taken on the same day in that rental house we lived in, before we moved back home)
So super funny for me to look at-Enjoy this one, too.
It's on the house!
I couldn't resist!
(Smile)
Funny! Funny! Funny!
I have talked to a very dear childhood friend, on the phone twice this week, which is unusual. It's funny how God keeps certain people in your life decade after decade and no matter what these people stay close even when you don't see them, but a couple of times a year. I have been very fortunate to have that, many times over, in my life. I love my friends!
Mario Pugh (our security outside cat) somehow managed to pry our screen door open, I am not sure for how long, but had enough nerve to sneak into the living room yesterday and freak us all out. By leaving my door open I think a bazillion and one mosquitoes got into my house and because our ceilings our so high I had to swat them with a broom and put dents all over my walls. This pisses me off, but I had to do what I had to do. Um, who wants nasty mosquitoes in their home-not this chick. Although, watching me use the giant fly swatting broom made my mouth say some colorful words, it kept our youngest dying laughing at his mama and her fight to win against those nasty biting bugs and the foulness of my tongue with each swat, miss, and conquer-
I am deep cleaning my house on Monday. Maybe this will trigger spring in Illinois. I turned my air conditioner on for two days last week and turned the furnace on Sunday afternoon. I am so over this weird weather.
Charlie shaved his head completely bald this weekend-interesting.....
I didn't go to Mass this morning. I do not ever like to miss.
I want the arthritis to leave my left pointer finger, as always.
I can't decide if I want to keep my hair shoulder length and keep waisting my time straightening it or if I want the short funky "do" that is super easy and cute for the summer (if summer ever arrives) What will I do?
While Charlie and I were being lazy on the couch last night the three boys piled on top of us and we all five watched t.v. on the couch together. Our boys are not small, but somehow, it's was quite enjoyable and surprisingly comfortable.
Who'd of thunk it?
I never ever liked the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and for some reason it keeps playing on t.v. and now it's one of my favorite movies. I love "big family" movies.
I watched so much PBS this weekend. You know how I love everything about PBS. It keeps me calm and relaxes me, for some reason. It just seems so pure to me no matter what show is on. Maybe it's because everyone on there speaks so slowly and I feel like they are really talking to me. I think my love for PBS started with Mr. Rogers. Funny but true~
Here ya go!
I saved the best for last!
A total goofy mama for sure!
Oh, the days of the rental house-oh my my my!
(Have I said how much I love our beautiful huge family built old home in the village, lately?)
I always miss Charlie and the boys when the work week begins. Sunday nights are always kind of sad to me, because the house is quiet starting on Monday morning and I love noise and people in the house. I love the motions of commotion. I do-I do. But, I eventually, get in the groove of things, but I sure do miss them all.
I want to sew. I need to sew. So why am I not sewing? I think it's because I feel like I have way too much other stuff that has to get done. I think sometimes it all seems so overwhelming that I don't do any of it. Then I am frustrated and think "why aren't I sewing?" and then the dog chasing it's tail begins again. So would someone please come in, finish this house for me, clean up my garage and basement, and then do everything that is on my very specific list that I have made for myself so that I might be able to sew.
I miss it "sew" much.
Do you have any funny morning mom pics?
